A Studio in Stages
Many works are shown as progressions — the same piece at three, ten, sometimes eighteen sittings — so you can follow how it gets there. Click any work to step through.
The Artist
Jason Lange
A lifelong artist who started at a young age and never stopped. Decades on, Jason works across oil, graphite, and airbrush — sometimes a quiet harbor at sunrise, sometimes flames on the trunk of a 1940 street rod. The thread is patience: every piece is built up in stages, with the early sketch often as honest as the finish.
JLangeArt is his studio practice. The work shown here lives in his archive — but every piece is open to a commissioned re-imagining, and he takes new subjects across canvas, panel, helmet, and vehicle all the time.
